Numerous businesses in the Charlotte area have agreed to accept used motor oil from the public.

In addition to motor oil, many also accept:

• vehicle batteries
• transmission fluid
• hydraulic oil
• power steering fluid
• gear oil
• oil filters
• antifreeze

Please be aware that these businesses can only accept non-commercial amounts of used automotive oil.

These facilities are inspected by Storm Water Services' staff to make sure they comply with water quality regulations.
