What is Kinship Care?

Kinship Care refers to the care of children by relatives in an informal or formal arrangement.   There are an estimated 6 million children in the US living in families headed by a grandparent or other relative caregiver. 

Services Offered

  • Community Social Work Services
  • Foster Care and Adoptive Services
  • Assistance with school attendance issues and concerns available for those who qualify
  • Additional services such as respite and trainings are offered to caregivers who qualify
