Keep Mecklenburg Beautiful will be participating in the Great American Cleanup (GAC) from March 1, 2011 through May 31, 2011.
Several projects are under development for community-wide participation, but please don't let that stop you from "doing your own thing" NOW. You can obtain free GLAD FlorceFlex trash bags for your cleanups which are provided by The Glad Products Company, one of many sponsors of the 2011 Great American Cleanup. We also have Great American Cleanup banners for you to use to promote your own projects.
For information on how you can get involved, contact Jake Wilson, Executive Director of Keep Mecklenburg Beautiful, Inc. at 704-432-1772 or send an email to Jake.Wilson@mecklenburgcountync.gov.
