Open House Public Visitation Historic St. Mary's Chapel will be closed Friday, April 19, 2013, from noon - 4 p.m., for open house public visitation and walk-in customers. The Chapel will reopen on Friday, April 26, 2013, from noon - 4 p.m., for open house public visitation and walk-in customers. Additionally, the Chapel will open on Thursdays, April 18 - May 30 2013, from 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Mecklenburg County rents the facility for three hours and forty-five minutes per rental (Rehearsal - 1 hour, Ceremony - 2 hr 45 mins). The Chapel was designated as an Historic Landmark in 1975 and it is available for weddings, memorial services and other ceremonies. One dressing room is available for use by all renters.  Various rules apply to the use of the Historic St. Mary's Chapel, please download the information packet for details. Historic St. Mary's Chapel is open each Friday from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm for public visits. 

The renter must provide:

• Officiating Pastor/Minister
• Decorations
• Musician.

In accordance with N.C.G.S. 25-3-512, the RETURNED CHECK FEE is $25.00.
