ABOUT OUR CAMPS

Camps are staffed by professional Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation employees.

Camper to staff ratio = 10:1

Campers will need to provide their own lunch and
2 snacks daily (refrigeration may not be available).

Campers are required to provide their own swim suit & towel, tennis shoes, sun block, water bottle, and bug spray.

Field trips are included for most camps!

No money, toys, cell phones or games. We'll be too busy to play or spend!
- Camp hours: 7:30am-6pm unless otherwise noted.

Ages: 6-11yrs unless otherwise noted.

Cost: $150-$175/week

Registration begins March 1, 2012
- Camp space is limited so register as soon as possible. You can register and check availability online at eParks. To register online you will need your login (barcode) & pin #. If you don’t have yours, call 311 at least 24 hours in advance of registering, or contact Ray’s Splash Planet.
Camp Cannonball
This camp incorporates everything Ray’s Splash Planet has to offer and more!
Participants will take part in a variety of learning opportunities as well as physical
activities on a daily basis for the ultimate camp experience. Did I mention that we
have our own indoor water park? Whether it's going on a field trip, exploring
Irwin Creek or zipping down the Blue Comet, Camp Cannonball has it all.

Jr. Lifeguarding Camp
The best camp to introduce children to lifeguarding using the American Red Cross Guard Start Program. This program will
focus on the prevention of aquatic accidents, responding in emergency situations, as well as developing leadership skills.
Cost: $150
Ages: 11-14 years

Prerequisite: Must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted
