 If you're looking to beat the summer heat, visit one of our 2 outdoor pools, Cordelia or Double Oaks. Pools open Saturday, May 28 and will be open every weekend through Labor Day. Pools will also be open on weekdays after the last school day of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (June 10). The outdoor pools also offer summer swim leagues for youth, free swim lessons as well as open swim opportunities. For more information, call 704-336-DIVE.

WENDY'S FREE SWIM LESSONS AT THE OUTDOOR POOLS
Park and Recreation’s outdoor pools in partnership with Wendy’s will offer FREE swimming lessons for youngsters with sessions for ages 3-5, 6-8, 9-12 at:

Cordelia Pool: Mondays and Wednesdays 10:30 a.m.-11 a.m. or 11:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m.

Double Oaks Pool: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9 a.m.-9:45 a.m., 10 a.m.-10:45 a.m. or 11 a.m-11:45 a.m.
Registration for swim lessons will be accepted, beginning on Wednesday June 15, at the pool you wish to attend. Registration will be taken every Wednesday beginning at noon for the following week only. Registration for lessons is done week-by-week and must be done in person. No phone reservations will be taken. All reservations are first come, first served and spots are limited.
The outdoor pools will also have daily programs throughout the summer, so contact each pool to see what exciting event is happening that particular day.
