Description2 ABOUT THE BUILDING STRUCTURE
Sprung structure was an idea that derived from a correctional facility in Lee County, Florida. The Sprung structure consists of an aluminum frame, insulated cross section and a Tedlar exterior protective film coated architectural membrane. Tedlar exterior protective film guards against UV and airborne contaminants and dramatically extends membrane life. The structure has been developed to withstand wind, fire, snow, and just about any menace that nature can deliver. The walls are constructed with 2 layers of 5/8’ high impact dry wall, reinforced with steel rebars and concrete. When inside it's hard to visualize the outside structure.
There are three buildings that make up the Annex:
Administrative Building - 10,536 square feet
Housing Unit A - 36,369 square feet, 460x120'
Housing Unit B - 36,369 460x120'
Apex height - 31 feet
