Mecklenburg County Home Day Care Rules were enacted for the purpose of protecting the health and safety of children receiving child care away from their own homes in Mecklenburg County. This is accomplished by establishing minimum health and safety standards to be met by individuals providing care for up to 5 children in residential settings. Registration is required for applicable facilities.
