The College Tobacco Use Prevention works with 20+ colleges in Mecklenburg and surrounding counties to prevent and reduce tobacco use by helping colleges develop 100% tobacco-free policies, and helping smokers to quit.

The program is funded by a grant from the NC Health and Wellness Trust Fund.

Services Available

• We offer consultation to colleges on developing tobacco use prevention activities and policies.
• Peer education and advocacy programs are utilized in program implementation.
