We work to reduce HIV, syphilis and other sexually transmitted infection by promoting health and enabling individuals and communities to increase control over conditions affecting their health.

• Where to Get Tested for HIV, Syphilis and other STDs
  Public Health and community health clinic testing calendar. Tests are free and confidential.
• HIV/STD Counseling and Testing
  We offer free and confidential HIV and syphilis testing and counseling at Health Department clinics and at testing sites in the community. We also offer referral and HIV case management services to persons living with HIV/AIDS.
• Education and Outreach
  Mecklenburg County Health Department offers education and outreach programs to groups and individuals. We also offer referrals to community resources and agencies. To schedule a session please call 704-432-7352.

  We can link you to healthcare and psychosocial services to ensure timely and appropriate level of care.
• Ryan White Program
  Ryan White Care Act funded services are available to HIV-positive residents that meet certain eligibility requirements. Some eligibility requirements include financial limitations or medical criteria.
