Children's Developmental Services
The Mecklenburg Children’s Developmental Services Agency (CDSA) is the local agency for Early Intervention in our community, which is part of the statewide NC Infant-Toddler Program. We support families to help children from birth to age three who have developmental delays or who are at risk for problems with their development to grow and learn to the best of their potential.

Division provides a variety of programs Mecklenburg County at churches, homes, schools, colleges, child care centers, ambulatory sites, and to the community at large. The overall goal is to improve the quality of life and health for citizens in Mecklenburg County. Services include but are not limited to: case management, education and outreach, counseling and testing, environmental policy development, and disease prevention. Programs are targeted to high risk populations and aim to address health disparities. See the list below for program areas.
