The 2011 City of Charlotte Annexation and City Council redistricting are now complete.
Annexation affected 2420 voters in the following precincts:
- Precinct 78
- Precinct 80
- Precinct 89
- Precinct 138
- Precinct 201
- Precinct 230
These voters now reside in the City of Charlotte.
Voter cards will be mailed to all affected by these changes.

In addition, the following changes were made to City Council Districts:
- Precinct 8 is now City Council District 1 (was 6) 2332 voters affected
- Precinct 36 is now in City Council District 6 (was 5) 2636 voters affected
- Precinct 56 is now in City Council District 1 (was 4) 1498 voters affected
- Precinct 81 is now City Council District 3 (a portion was 2) 2177 voters affected
- Precinct 93 is now City Council District 6 (was 7) 1844 voters affected
