This is for more information regarding Rezoning Petitions and the Rezoning ProcessWhen owners want to develop or use their property in ways that do not conform to their current zoning regulations, they must apply for a change to their zoning classification, also commonly referred to as a Rezoning.
 

The City of Charlotte Zoning Administration is responsible for;
• Enforcement of the City of Charlotte Zoning Ordinance
• Zoning Inspections
• Zoning Use and Sign Permits
• Zoning Verification Letters
• Zoning Interpretations
• Commercial Site Plan Review & Inspections
• Zoning Board of Adjustment (Variance & Appeals)
