Charlotte City Council Approved on January 31, 2011 a request to reduce the 400' separation required between residential districts and bars/nightclubs to 225' has been submitted by a property owner in the Plaza-Central Pedscape Plan district. This reduction would apply to all properties located within the Plaza-Central Pedscape Plan boundaries to allow alcohol sales within 225' of all residential properties.
