National and State Homelessness Experts Work with Local Organizations on Coordinated Assessment
8/22/13: Consultants from the National Alliance to End Homelessness and the North Carolina Coalition to End Homelessness are working with the Charlotte community to develop a coordinated assessment system for homeless services providers. During the next 10 months, community leaders, stakeholders and providers will work with the consultants to plan, design, implement and evaluate a system which will connect consumers with the correct services and resources to help them move quickly from homelessness to stable housing.
The project timeline and phases will include the following:
Kickoff and Goal Setting: August through October 2013
Planning and Design: October through March 2014
Implementation and Evaluation: April 2014-June 2014
