A Transportation Bond Project
This project was previously known as the Community House Road Farm-To-Market Project, which has now been split into two phases. The goal of Phase 1 is to complete improvements to Community House Road from Ardrey Kell Road to Providence Road West. This project is NOT a road widening. The goal of this project is to add or improve roadway features to better serve the community and all roadway users.

Project plans are currently being finalized and improvements will include:
- Additional turn lanes
- Better pedestrian crossings and signals
- Landscaped medians
- End-to-end uninterrupted sidewalks and bike lanes
- Additional street lighting
Construction should begin by summer 2013.
Estimated Cost: $3,250,000
Please note that the project cost will include all costs associated with the project such as planning and design, acquiring the right of way, utility relocation, consultant fees, construction, signalization, permits and landscaping.
The Engineering & Property Management (E&PM) project team will manage the Community House Road Phase 1 Project through a four stage process. Specific work is conducted during each stage with an emphasis on public involvement during the planning and design phases. Click here to learn how City projects are selected, designed and built.
