Community House Road Phase 1

Community House Road Phase 1
This project will make improvements to Community House Road from Ardrey Kell Road to Providence Road West to better serve the community and all roadway users.

What's happened?
A public meeting was held August 16, 2012 to discuss necessary changes to the Community House Road Farm-To-Market Project due to the bridge being constructed by NCDOT connecting Community House Road over I-485. This unexpected change has made it necessary to redesign the project from Providence Road West to Bryant Farms Road. The project has been split and will be carried out in two phases. Community House Road Phase 1 from Ardrey Kell Road to Providence Road West will move forward as designed. Community House Road Phase 2 from Providence Road West to Bryant Farms Road is under redesign and will be constructed at a later date.

What’s Next?
Plans for Phase 1 are being finalized and construction is expected to begin by summer 2013.
