This project will build new sidewalk, curb and gutter, and minor storm drainage improvements in the Colonial Village/Sedgefield neighborhood.

Park Road Drainage
This project will provide storm water improvements along Park Road from Sunset Road to the Park Road/Kenilworth Avenue intersection.

What happened? The construction projects are in the warranty phase and  the landscaping projects is complete.

Park Road Storm Drainage

A Neighborhood Improvement and Park Road Drainaige Project

In November 2006, voters approved $25,000,000 for neighborhood improvement projects including $5,000,000 for Colonial Village/Sedgefield. This project area is bounded by Ideal Way, Park Road, Scaleybark Road and Industry Road.  The neighborhood will receive improvements, but not limited to curb and gutter, sidewalks with ADA  wheel chair ramps, planting strips and storm water drainage.

Objectives:

  • To improve the quality of life for the residents of the Colonial Village/Sedgefield neighborhoods
  • To provide new sidewalks and planting strips for pedestrians to walk safely through their neighborhoods

Cost: $5,000,000
Please note this figure includes all costs associated with the project such as planning and design, acquiring the right of way, utility relocation, consultant fees, construction, signalization, permits and landscaping.
