Thomasboro-Hoskins, Phases 1, 2, 3 and 4

Thomasboro-Hoskins
This neighborhood project is funded through the 2000 and 2006 bond programs. Improvements will include curb & gutter, planting strips, sidewalks, storm drainage and sewer & water line upgrades, retaining walls, and landscaping.

What's happened?
Glenwood, Phase 3 - Both the construction, landscaping and warranty phases are complete.  
Bradford Phase 4 - The Real Estate Acquisition and big phases are complete.

What's next?
Bradford, Phase 4 -Construction began September 2012 and could extend through the end of 2014.

2000 and 2006 Neighborhood Bond Projects

The Thomasboro Hoskins project was divided into 4 phases and bid as four separate construction projects.  Morgan Street, Phase 1, was completed in February 2003. Hoskins, Phase 2, was completed in March 2006. Glenwood, Phase 3, was completed in June 2011. Bradford, Phase 4 is expected to begin construction in November/December 2012.

Objectives:

  • To construct infrastructure improvements including curb & gutter, planting strips, sidewalks, storm drainage, retaining walls, asphalt paving, sewer line upgrades, water line upgrades and landscaping.
  • To design and install these NIP improvements in conjunction with the Blenhein CIP and the Westridge/Allenbrook storm drainage projects.

Costs:  $3,300,000 for Phase 3; $5,430,000 for Phase 4
Please note that this figure includes all costs associated with the project such as planning and design, acquiring the right of way, utility relocation, consultant fees, construction, signalization, permits and landscaping.
