Hidden Valley Phase 6 NIP

Hidden Valley
This project will make infrastructure improvements such as curb and gutter, sidewalk, and storm drainage.  This project encompasses one street, Dawn Circle.

What's happened? The Planning, Design, Real Estate and bid phases are complete. Construction began in April 2011.

What's next? Construction is complete. New street trees were planted in March 2012.

A 2008 Neighborhood Improvement Bond Project. 

In November 2006, voters approved $25,000,000 for neighborhood improvement projects including $925,000 for planning, design, right-of-way acquisition, utility relocation and construction for the Hidden Valley neighborhood.

This project will provide infrastructure improvements to Dawn Circle that include:

  • Roadway and pedestrian improvements such as curb and gutter, sidewalk and storm drainage.
  • Coordination with storm drainage improvement projects and water line construction projects. 

Objectives:

  • Maintain, stabilize and revitalize the neighborhood through comprehensive infrastructure improvements
  • Strengthen the neighborhood and surrounding community

Cost:  $925,000
Please note that this is the NIP funding amount.  Additional funding may be identified after the planning phase.  Project costs typically include all costs associated with the project such as planning and design, acquiring the right of way, utility relocation, consultant fees, construction, signalization, permits and landscaping.
