It is part of our Mission to serve as a resource to foster international relationships both between the different communities in Charlotte and with Charlotte and the rest of the world.
One way we do this is by keeping track of all the non-profit, educational, charitable and governmental organizations and offices that serve Charlotte's International Community or help Charlotteans be better global citizens. You can find a list of those organizations here.
We've also collected a few facts and figures to help you learn more about Charlotte and its role in the ever interconnected global community.
Another resource we provide is a think tank for the Mayor and City Council. When called upon, the Cabinet organizes task forces to address international issues facing our community. Each task force then publishes a report. You can find copies of our past reports here.
International North Carolina: Links to international organizations throughout North Carolina.
Global Linkages: Other important international links, including US Government sites.
Grant Opportunities for Educators: from the November 2005 edition of World View.
