Annually, the Charlotte International Cabinet and Alliance Française celebrate the "Les premières vendanges" or first grape harvest of the year. This is an authentic French tradition celebrated around the globe.  Charlotte is honored to be one of 16 cities in the United States recognized as an official Beaujolais city by the Union Interprofessionelle des Vins du Beaujolais, the association governing this wine producing region of France.

BeaujolaisBeaujolais Nouveau wine is released the third Thursday of November. That Friday we ask you to join us in celebration by sampling this fresh young wine and a few  other selections from the Beaujolais region. While enjoying the Beaujolais Nouveau and several other great wines from the region you can snack on various French Fare cheeses and saucisson.

The festival includes silent auctions, traditional French country hors d'oeuvres, cooking demonstrations, and raffle ticket prizes.

At this year's Beaujolais Festival on Friday, November 16th, we are so excited to have Chef Jeff come and do some cooking demonstrations.  A jazz trio led by John Alexander, a prominent Charlotte Jazz musician, will be there to set the mood.

We will have a variety of goodies and prizes in our silent auction and our raffle, including a prize package from the Westin.

Must be 21 to participate.
