The Charlotte Department of Transportation will be treating some Charlotte streets today with salt brine in anticipation of a winter weather event arriving Friday morning and possibly continuing over the next few days.
CDOT Focuses on Clearing Uptown Streets and Sidewalks
CDOT's priority is clearing uptown streets and sidewalks, especially in the area around the Bank of America Stadium. This is in anticipation of heavy pedestrian traffic Sunday for the Panthers' Championship football game.
