Residents of Charlotte are invited to meet the three finalists for Charlotte City Manager at a reception and public forum on Wednesday, February 20, 2012 at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, 600 East 4th Street, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Ron Carlee
Chief Operating Officer, International City/County Management Association (ICMA)
Ron Carlee has served as COO for ICMA since 2009. He manages day-to-day operations and leads strategy and operational efforts to support local government managers in the U.S. and internationally. Prior to his work with ICMA, Carlee served as the County Manager for Arlington County, Virginia from 2001 to 2009.

Ruffin Hall
Assistant City Manager, City of Charlotte
Ruffin Hall has served as an Assistant City Manager since 2012. He is responsible for developing policies that guide and manage the growth of the city including planning, transportation, land use and economic development initiatives. He joined the City in 2001 and was apointed Budget and Evaluation Director in 2002; a position he held until being selected as Assistant City Manager.

Ron Kimble
Deputy City Manager, City of Charlotte
Ronald R. (Ron) Kimble joined the City of Charlotte in 2000 as Assistant City Manager. He has served as Deputy city Manager since 2007. Kimble is responsible for economic development, redevelopment, hospitality and tourism, and intergovernmental relations for the City. Prior to coming to the City of Charlotte, Kimble served as City Manager for the Greenville, North Carolina for 10 years.
