Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) Airport Financial Statements
City of Charlotte Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports:
 The Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) is the official annual report of the City. The CAFR contains three distinct sections: introductory, financial and statistical.
- The introductory section contains general information on the structure, services and environment of the City.
- The financial section includes the basic financial statements which are the core of financial reporting. These include government-wide financial statements, fund financial statements and notes to the financial statements. The financial section also includes information on individual funds.
- The statistical section provides trend data and nonfinancial data useful in interpreting the basic financial statements and is important for evaluating economic condition.
The City's Single Audit is also included in the CAFR document.

City of Charlotte Airport Financial Statements:
These financial statements present a narrative overview and analysis of the Charlotte Douglas International Airport's financial performance for the fiscal year. This report consists primarily of three parts: management's discussion and analysis, the financial statements and additional information pertaining to the change in net assets for included and excluded centers as well as schedules of cash deposits and withdrawals by bond issue. The financial statement section includes notes to the financial statements that provide explanations and detailed data.
