Worthless check conciliation offers individuals with pending court dates or outstanding warrants for worthless checks an opportunity to make restitution to the merchant and have their case(s) or warrant(s) dismissed without having a criminal conviction on their record.

If you make restitution with a debit or credit card, there is a 72-hour (three-day) waiting period before payment is posted. It is the customer's responsibility to request FMS to fax a receipt to the Worthless Check Program to 704-336-5176.
