Ailen J. Arreaza is responsible for receiving complaints and gathering data in order to prove or refute allegations of discrimination in housing and places of public accommodation. Additionally, she frequently provides trainings to real estate professionals and other community members on the Fair Housing Act.
Arreaza began working for CRC in 2005 when she led a housing discrimination study of the Hispanic/Latino community in Charlotte-Mecklenburg. Her responsibilities included coordinating 100 sales and rental tests as well as educating the growing Latino community in Charlotte about its fair housing rights.
She is a graduate of George Washington University and is fully bilingual and bicultural.
