Do The Right Thing Award Recepient to be Recognized by City Council
The annual winner of this year’s Do The Right Thing program is Alexander Gonzalez, a ninth grade student from Providence High School. Alex was recognized during the citizen’s forum at Charlotte City Council.
Alex is being recognized after he called the Charlotte Fire Department to his family’s home after his 2 year old sister went into cardiac arrest. Alex preformed rescue breathing until the CFD arrived. Alex was able to keep his sister breathing and also gave critical information to the well being of his sister to the CFD and medic.
