Charlotte - Tonight's City Council Workshop has been cancelled due to the weather.  The major streets should be no problem this afternoon, but temperatures are expected to drop quickly after sundown into the teens, which could make travel at the conclusion of the workshop difficult.  

In addition, two of the agenda topics tonight had presenters coming from out of town and their travel plans are tenuous at best at this time due to the weather up and down the east coast.  We will place tonight's agenda items on upcoming agendas, starting with next Monday's dinner meeting. 

There were three Council committee meetings scheduled today:  Restructuring at noon, Environment at 2:30 pm and Governmental Affairs at 4:00 pm. 

Restructuring and Environment will continue as scheduled.  Governmental Affairs has been cancelled.
