(CHARLOTTE N.C)  Two public workshops scheduled for May 31, 2008 in Charlotte by representatives from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), National Community Reinvestment Coalition, and HUD approved housing counseling agencies have been postponed. The purpose of these workshops was to discuss fair lending requirements of the Federal Fair Housing Act and how to avoid predatory lending and foreclosure alternatives. An alternate date for these workshops has not been scheduled as of yet.
