Make Your Home A Green Place

This basic natural alternative to household chemicals workshop is a 2-hour workshop in which we will learn natural alternatives to toxic household cleaners (including cleaners, pesticides, etc.). This class will teach participants how to:

Identify household chemicals and the importance of properly disposing of household chemicals
Protect your health and environment;
Properly use, store, and dispose of household chemicals; and
Create your own alternatives to household chemicals

Class dates are November 3, 2012 and January 12, 2013 and are limited to 20 people per class. Pre-registration is required. The deadline for registration is the Monday before the class dates.

Classes are held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (unless otherwise noted) at Compost Central. Class participants are required to wear closed toed shoes for safety purposes but may dress weather appropriate. Class participants will also have the opportunity to complete a site tour following the class.
