Substance Abuse Treatment Programs at the Men’s and Women’s Shelters

The Men's Shelter of Charlotte is located at 1210 North Tryon Street, Charlotte

The Salvation Army Center of Hope Women's Shelter of is located at 534 Spratt Street, Charlotte.

The Provided Services Organization’s Substance Abuse Services Division provides treatment services within the Men’s and Women’s shelters of Mecklenburg County. Treatment services are facilitated 5 days a week for 4 hours a day. Treatment services include individual and group counseling, psycho-education on drugs and alcohol, and aftercare services. Treatment services are facilitated using Best Practice Models such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Seeking Safety.
