The Mahlon Adams Pavilion
Location: Freedom Park
The Pavilion's main hall is available for rent.  It holds up to 70 people seated banquet style for business meetings, weddings, and parties.  It is also designed for events from surrounding communities such as meetings of neighborhood associations and the district park advisory council.  The hall has a working gas log fire place and a 42" Plasma TV.  An adjacent plaza area is suitable for outdoor grilling or can be used as an outdoor bar or as a kids eating area.

Cancellations must be made at least 30 days prior to event. The cost will be refunded minus a 10 percent administrative cost. No refunds will be given if cancellation is less than 30 days. A $25 fee is charged for all returned checks.

In the case of inclement weather, Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation will reschedule the event for another time or facility (of equal or lesser value). Refunds will not be given in the event of inclement weather.

Special Use Permits for Bounce Houses and Alcohol are available for an additional fee.  Certain restrictions apply. Beer/Wine Permits are $52. Amusement Permits are $20 for 1/2 day and $40 for a full day
