The Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department's Youth Soccer program will be offered at various recreation centers and parks throughout the county every late summer/early fall. The
Recreation Centers will begin registration in July, practices will begin in August and games will begin in September.
Age Divisions & Leagues:
(Age as of August 1, 2013):
- Ages 5 - 6 (Instructional)
- Ages 7 - 8 (Recreational)
- Ages 9 - 10 (Recreational)
- Ages 11 -12 (Recreational)
The 11-12 age division will play under modified rules (4 on 4, small field with no goalies). There will be a restrictive shooting arch in the front of each goal.
