Mecklenburg County Public Notice

Public Notice is hereby given that Mecklenburg County has developed its draft HUD Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for the period of June 1, 2011 through July 31, 2012. The CAPER document is intended to provide citizens with a summary of the annual accomplishments of the Mecklenburg County CDBG program, and their effect on households of low and moderate income.

The CAPER will be available for public review and comment for a period of fifteen (15) days beginning on September 7, 2012 and ending on September 21, 2012. Printed copies can be obtained by contacting James Luster at jluster@centralina.org or 525 N. Tryon Street, 12th Floor, Charlotte, NC 28202. Digital copies can be retrieved from the following websites: www.centralina.org or www.MecklenburgCountyNC.gov.

Any concerned Mecklenburg County citizen may comment on this report in writing to James Luster, CDBG Project Manager, Centralina Council of Governments, 525 N. Tryon Street, 12th Floor, Charlotte, NC 28202. A summary of comments received will be submitted with the CAPER to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
