Bulky Items

Items such as household furnishings, household appliances, mattresses, box springs, lawn equipment, and similar household items too large to be placed in the rollout cart are considered bulky items and must be scheduled to be collected.

Here's how you can schedule your items for collection:

 - Call the City-County Customer Service line by dialing 311 or 704.336.7600.

Schedule Online
When you submit your online request you will receive a collection day and a confirmation number immediately!  The system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year.

Bulky items must be scheduled to receive collection.  Please do not put items at curbside until the day before the scheduled pick up.  Items at the curb more than one day before the scheduled collection could result in the property owner receiving a fine of at least $50.
