What does it mean to be certified as a Small Business Enterprise?
The City certifies small businesses as SBE's based upon size standards established by the City. Once certified, SBE's can compete for contracting opportunities with the City for both formal ($100,000 or greater) and informal (less than $100,000) contracts.
Benefits of Certification:

- Increased notification of contracting opportunities
- Orientation on how to do business with the City
- Networking events and opportunities
- Business and technical assistance
