Goals of the Program
- Educate the victim about domestic violence and it's dynamics
- Increase safety of the victim through safety planning and referrals
- Enhance self-esteem and allow victim to verbalize their experience and express their feelings surrounding the abuse through individual and group counseling
- Encourage the victim to identify and utilize their support network
- Increase the victim's general understanding about domestic law information that may affect them in the future
- Educate/train the public about domestic violence
