PURPOSE AND/OR MISSION OF ASSOCIATION/ORGANIZATION/AGENCY:
Supports, physically and spiritually, the various services of the Salvation Army, a unique international religious and charitable organization which ministers to the spiritual and physical needs in more than 80 countries. Our purpose is to assist the Salvation Army.

MAJOR PLANNED PROGRAMS/PROJECTS/SERVICES:
  • Festival of Tables – 12th Annual – March 18 & 19 – Adams Mark Hotel ( a fundraiser to benefit Salvation Army Women & Children's Shelter in Charlotte)
  • New Member Coffee – September 2000
  • Year-round programs, parties, etc. for: (1) Senior Citizens at Booth Garden Apartments on North Poplar Street; (2) Adult Rehabilitation Center on Central Avenue; (3) the Boys & Girls Clubs on Milton Road, Belmont Avenue, and W. Trade Street;(4) Attic/Yard Sale- Fall 2000
