If you are experiencing a water emergency or suspect a sewage overflow or spill, call # 311 (or 704-336-7600) ~ 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 

You can also call 311 for billing questions or to set up a new customer account.  Note: A $32.00 service charge will apply to all new service connections or account transfers.

To Request Water Service Turned On / Off or Account Transfer (if you have an existing water / sewer service) call # 311  (or 704-336-7600) and request a "water service move in / move out or account transfer."  311 can assist from 7:00 a.m. through 10:00 p.m. seven days a week.

  • Pay Water Bill: Online or by Bank Draft
  • New Taps (install a new water meter and/or sewer tap)
  • Backflow Prevention Devices (and residential irrigation systems)
