Water & sewer charges for a RESIDENTIAL customer:
Your monthly bill for water & sewer services basically includes four components:
1. Administrative charge for water $.06 per day per water service.
2. Water Usage charge
Residential users pay a usage charge of $1.33, $2.18 or $4.31 per Ccf of metered water usage, depending on the amount of water used. One (1) Ccf is defined as 100 cubic feet (equal to 748 gallons of water) but is basically your meter's measuring unit or multiplier. The average residential customer uses about 8.5 Ccf.

3. Administrative charge for sewer $.06 per day per sewer service.
4. Sewer Usage charge
Residential Customers pay $3.22 per Ccf of metered water usage to cover the cost of wastewater collection and treatment. However residential customers do not pay for sewer usage beyond 18 Ccf of metered water usage (which means your maximum sewer usage charge would be $55.44 per account each month). (18 ccf x $3.22 + $1.80 = $59.76)

EXAMPLE of a bill using 9 Ccf (6,732 gallons):
$ 1.80 water admin charge (during 30 days) +
$11.97 water usage (9 x $1.33) +
$ 1.80 sewer admin charge +
$28.98 sewer usage (9 x $3.22) =
$44.55 TOTAL
The bill for a customer using 24 Ccf in a month (17,952 gallons) would be:
$ 1.80 water admin charge (during 30 days)+
$ 45.46 water usage ($14.63 for first 11 Ccf + $ 23.98 for 12-22 Ccf + $8.62 for 23-24 Ccf *) +
$ 1.80 sewer admin charge +
$ 53.64 sewer usage ($3.22 x 18 Ccf [sewer cap])

Water & sewer charges for MULTI-FAMILY customers (apartments, duplexes etc. with a single master meter serving more than one household)
Your monthly bill for water and wastewater basically has four components:
1. Administrative charge for water $.06 per day per water service.
2. Water Usage charge
Multi-family users pay a usage charge of $1.33, $2.18 or $4.31 per Ccf of metered water usage, depending on the amount of water used and the number of units served by the master meter. Rate usage blocks are adjusted for the number of units served.
One Ccf is defined as 100 cubic feet (equal to 748 gallons of water) but is basically the meter's measuring unit or multiplier.

Multi-family customers pay $3.22 per Ccf of metered water usage to cover the cost of wastewater collection and treatment. However multifamily customers do not pay for sewer usage beyond 11 Ccf of metered water usage per unit (which means your maximum sewer usage charge per each unit behind the master meter would be $35.42 per month).

Water charges for an IRRIGATION meter
Your monthly bill for water service on an irrigation meter includes two components:
1. Administrative charge for water $.06 per day per water service.
2. Water Usage charge
Users pay a usage charge of $1.33, $2.18or $4.31per Ccf of metered water usage, depending on the amount of water used. One (1) Ccf is defined as 100 cubic feet (equal to 748 gallons of water) but is basically your meter's measuring unit or multiplier.

Irrigation meters do not pay sewer charges.

EXAMPLE: An Irrigation Meter customer using 24 Ccf in a month (17,952 gallons) would pay:
$ 1.80 water admin charge (during 30 days) +
$ 47.23 water usage ($14.63 for first 11 Ccf + $23.98 for 12-22 Ccf + $8.62 for 23-24 Ccf *)

Water and sewer charges for a COMMERCIAL customer
Your monthly bill for water and wastewater basically has four components:
1. Administrative charge for water $.06 per day per water service.
2. Water Usage charge
Commercial users pay a flat usage charge of $1.73 per Ccf of metered water usage. One (1) Ccf is defined as 100 cubic feet (equal to 748 gallons of water) but is basically the meter's measuring unit or multiplier.
3. Administrative charge for sewer $.06 per day per sewer service.
4. Sewer Usage charge
Commercial customers pay $3.22 per Ccf of metered water usage to cover the cost of wastewater collection and treatment. Some commercial customers also pay Industrial Pretreatment charges.

EXAMPLE: The bill for a typical commercial customer using 100 Ccf in a month (74,800 gallons) would be:

$173.00 water usage ($1.73 x 100 Ccf) +

WATER/SEWER CONNECTION FEES, WATER/SEWER CAPACITY FEES & METER DEPOSITS
- Anyone desiring a new connection to the water system must pay a Capacity fee AND a Connection Fee.

2. Sewer Usage charge
Sewer only residential customers pay a flat fee of $37.22 each month for service. The fee is based on usage of 11 ccf (8,228 gallons) per month. Each ccf is currently $3.22.
