The Briar Creek Sewer System Improvement Project - Phase 2

Design is beginning on an important next phase in the construction of the Briar Creek Sewer System Improvement Project aimed at adding new and replacing large diameter pipelines suffering the affects of age, high usage, and natural and man-made obstructions. There are tremendous benefits to the project including environmental and quality of service for you. But before the benefits can be realized, the system improvements must be designed and constructed.

Over 3,000 residents and businesses received an Open House / Public Meeting Invitation.  The first public meeting was on October 9, 2007.  More will be held throughout the next two years.

General Public Meeting Information:

• Learn about the plans for Phase II, including timelines and construction impacts,

• Sit down one-on-one with a project team member to review your property and its relation to the general construction area, and

• Have an opportunity to personally ask questions and share concerns unique to your property. This is your chance to be heard before plans are designed. And while there are obviously some design issues we can't control and still construct a functioning pipeline system, our goal is to better understand areas where adjustments in the pipeline route may be possible to better serve you.
