General Annexation Information
If you have questions about water or sewer projects in the annexed area - please call 704-399-2221.
Residents who received water and sewer service from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities prior to annexation will continue to do so.
For 24-hour emergency water or sewer service, dial 311. For questions about storm water services, please contact 704/ 336-RAIN. |
When an area is annexed, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities installs fire protection and sewer service to the low point in the neighborhood. It usually takes two years to design and install the infrastructure.
Once a design is complete, Utilities will contact customers about the project closest to them. |
