BUDGET

Providing both high-quality drinking water and wastewater services, Utilities has an annual operating budget of $251 million  (including debt service) and an annual capital improvements budget of $386 million.

Tax dollars do not pay for our operation. Our operating budget is funded strictly from your water and sewer bill payment, and our capital improvements are paid for mostly through the sale of bonds. Please take a look at our Rates and Fees and see how we charge for water and sewer services.
