Traffic Safety Advisory Committee (TSAC)
|
The Traffic Safety and Advisory Committee (TSAC) was formed in January 1999. The effort was the brainchild of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. The purpose of TSAC is to increase traffic safety awareness, and to seek effective and innovative solutions to traffic problems. Using a multi-agency approach, the committee's goal is to increase public awareness, and identify traffic safety issues that can be effectively addressed through education, engineering, and enforcement.
