To have streetlights upgraded, obtain the required form from the Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT).

CDOT will consider requests to upgrade street lighting as appropriate:

Mercury Vapor (bluish tint) to High-Pressure Sodium (yellowish tint).
To a brighter, higher wattage (eg.: 100w to 150w).
