What Storm Water Services does
|
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services works to: 1) manage water quantity and 2) improve water quality for all residents of Mecklenburg County.
Managing water quantity includes:

Preventing or reducing the loss of life, disruption of services, and property damage caused by floods

Providing a quality storm drainage system that is safe, clean and cost-effective

Mapping floodplains and managing floodplain development

Preserving and restoring natural stream channels and the beneficial functions of floodplains

To improve the quality of our creeks, streams and lakes, we:
