The project drainage area is shown below, and is roughly bounded by W.T. Harris Boulevard to the north, Idlewild Road to the west, Barncliff Road to the east, and Braewick Place to the south.

Objectives:

- Reduce structure and street flooding throughout the neighborhood.
- Address channel erosion problems within the project area.

Status Update:
Survey of the existing storm drainage system in the project area has been completed. The purpose of the survey was to decide if the storm drainage system needs in the area should be addressed within the Storm Water Service's Capital Improvement Program. This program ranks projects based on severity of flooding and potential for public safety impacts. Neighborhoods with severe and dangerous flooding are addressed first. At this time, we have identified more than 90 projects that will take over 10 years to resolve. In order to determine the Wiseman Storm Drainage Improvement project schedule, Storm Water will compare the Wiseman area needs with other project areas and annual funding levels. Updates will be posted on the website and the neighborhood will be notified when this project is selected to move forward.
