There are two specialized services offered under the CURB IT! collection programs - small business garbage collection and dead animal collection.

Small Business Garbage Collection
Business collection is normally separate from residential collection. Schedules and procedures may be different for business customers especially on the holidays. If you are unsure of your collection day, call 704.336.4163 for assistance.

Businesses which generate more than 512 gallons of garbage/trash per week must arrange collection from a private hauler. Click here for additional information. 

Businesses currently utilizing a private service are not permitted to transfer to City service.  Small businesses are not eligible for yard-waste or bulky item collection through the City of Charlotte.

Dead Animal Collection
Solid Waste Services will collect dead animals from streets, public right-of-ways, and residences.  Animals collected from residents will only be collected from curbside.
