CURB IT! Thanksgiving Collection Schedule

- CURB IT! services - residential garbage, recyclables, yard waste and bulky items – will not be collected on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24, 2005.
- Thursday customers will be collected on Friday, November 25 and Friday customers on Saturday, November 26.
Tuesday, November 22, 2005 – (Charlotte, NC) – The City of Charlotte Solid Waste Services’ sponsors the CURB IT! collection program. As a part of the CURB IT! program, city collection crews collect residential garbage, recyclables, yard waste and bulky items from curbside once a week. Collection crews will not collect garbage, recyclables, yard waste and bulky items on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 24, 2005. The revised collection schedule for impacted customers is as follows:

Residents who normally receive service on Thursday will receive service on Friday, November 25.

Friday will receive service on Saturday, November 26.
Residents are reminded that collection materials should be placed at curbside no later than 6:30 a.m. on the scheduled day of collection. For questions, residents should call 311.
