• Curb It! services - Residential garbage, recyclables, yard waste and bulky items will not be collected on Monday, January 21
• Collection services will run on a one-day delay the week of January 21

 January 16, 2008 – (Charlotte, NC)  – The City of Charlotte Solid Waste Services’ collection crews will not collect garbage, recyclables, yard waste and bulky items on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, January 21, 2008.  CURB IT! collection services will operate on a one-day delay the week of January 21.  

Residents who normally receive service on Monday should place their rollout carts at curbside no later than 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, January 22.  Tuesday customers will receive service on Wednesday, January 23; Wednesday customers will receive service on Thursday, January 24; Thursday customers will receive service on Friday, January 25; and Friday customers will receive service on Saturday, January 26, 2008.  For questions, residents should call 311.
